Sub-Saharan Africa
Over 403 million people here live without basic access to clean water; more than half the global need.
Why neverthirst
There are many ways to give clean water. neverthirst exists to do something more: to bring clean water and the hope of the gospel to the people least likely to have either — working hand in hand with the local church.

The difference
Clean water saves lives, and we’re serious about the engineering, the sustainability, and the reporting that make it last.
But water alone can’t reach the deepest thirst. Every project a donor funds is carried out by local partners familiar with the best technologies for providing access to clean water in the local context. Additionally, we come alongside local pastors and evangelists and include them in the water project so they can be a part of serving the people they are already sharing the gospel with. We have seen that when clean water flows, the message of the gospel is received with greater curiosity and doors open up that were closed before.
“As a believer, this project also allows me to share and demonstrate God’s love in a practical way. Although God cannot be seen physically, His love is made visible through the lives of believers and through every drop of clean water that the children drink each day.” - Pastor from Southeast Asia

What sets us apart
We don’t parachute in and then leave. Every water system is delivered by our local partners is connected to local churches, pastors, and evangelists who stay long after the project is done where they continue to building trust in the community.
We focus on communities with the greatest need for clean water and the least access to the gospel. Traditionally, these communities are located in what's known as the 10/40 window. Many organizations overlook these hard-to-reach areas because it's not easy and not well funded. As a matter of fact, only 1% of Christian giving goes to reach these people living without access to the gospel.
Our local partners on the ground are committed to implementing high quality solutions with long-term functionality. Each solution is decided on with local partners, ensuring they are appropriate to the context, geography, and need in each community.

The local church
The local church is already there before we arrive, and long after our part is done. Local believers know the language, the leaders, and the real needs of the people from day to day.
When clean water comes through their hands, it isn’t charity from strangers; it’s love from neighbors. That’s why water projects delivered through our partners and involving the church last longer and reach deeper than any outside effort could.
"Through this visible expression of care and service, people have seen the love of Jesus in action. It has helped build trust and openness, and as a result, the number of believers in our area has increased from 8 to 16." - Local believer
The unreached
Nearly 700 million people still wake up without clean water — and many live in the regions of Africa and Asia least reached with the gospel.
Those are exactly the communities we go to: the ones most likely to be overlooked by everyone else.
Living water
Clean water changes a day. Living water changes forever. This doesn't have to bea an 'either-or' decision. We believe it's 'both-and' which is why we refuse to choose between the two.

Accountability
We hold ourselves to a high standard of financial transparency and independent accountability.
Every dollar is stewarded to bring the most clean and living water possible — and we publish the audits, reports, and results to prove it.
Where we serve
We serve across three regions where the need for clean water and the gospel is greatest.

Over 403 million people here live without basic access to clean water; more than half the global need.

Across some of the world’s most densely populated regions, millions of rural families still lack safe water.

More than 70 million people in rural communities lack reliable access to clean water in this region.
