After a normal, healthy pregnancy, the Jacksons were shocked and heartbroken when their daughter was stillborn.
In 2001, Keith and Tricia Jackson were weeks away from welcoming their first child, Emily, into the world.
Watch their story of how this loss led to a passion to share hope with families who need it.
From A Loss Of Life to A Passion for the Unreached
The Christmas after they lost Emily, Tricia was diagnosed with a congenital brain abnormality.
“Emily saved my life.” Tricia explained, “Because of increased blood flow during my pregnancy, I could hear the abnormality in my brain.” The pregnancy enabled Tricia to find and treat the abnormality early, saving her life.
“Giving others a second chance at life is very important to me now because I shouldn’t be here.”
Tricia shared how this experience resulted in a new compassion to help others. Through an IronTribe Workout for Water event, Keith and Tricia learned about neverthirst and started to serve villages around the world.
“One of the most powerful words we have is hope.”
The Jacksons give to bring a lasting hope among some of the poorest regions of the world. For nearly a decade now, they’ve lead their family in generosity and steward their resources to bless families in need.
This year-end, invite your family into giving. See how you can impact kids, families, and even entire villages (more on that here) with a desperate need and the hope of Jesus Christ.
“If clean water is the tool that God uses then our family wants to do whatever it takes to be even a small part of that.”
Join the Jackson family in doing whatever it takes to serve the unreached. And right now—your donation will be matched!*
