THE SERMON THAT STARTED IT ALL

“Have you disconnected the blessings of God from the purpose of God?”

In 2006, David Platt posed this question in a sermon titled The Ultimate Disconnect, based on Psalm 67:1-2:

“May God be gracious to us, bless us, and cause His face to shine upon us, so your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations.”
Psalm 67:1-2

This question resonated with three men in the service, who the next year prayerfully seeking God’s direction. After traveling overseas on multiple mission trips, witnessing poverty unlike they had ever seen before, they returned feeling called to do more.

“By God’s grace, I was preaching Psalm 67, and three guys in that service that day…started a water ministry called neverthirst.”

OUR MISSION

neverthirst exists for the
unreached

Over 703 million people around the world still lack access to clean water. And in India and Nepal, over 90% of the people groups are considered unreached with the gospel. We’re on a mission to support pastors as they enter into villages to share the gospel and build clean water projects.

Our approach to the water crisis is two-fold: First, we work in some of the hardest to reach places on our planet that have been forgotten. Secondly, we work through the local church—partnering with pastors on the ground who want to serve and love their neighbors in word and deed.

You can partner with pastors—like Moussa in Chad—to proclaim Christ to the unreached.

Giving $50 to $400 a month opens the door to equip families and villages with access to clean and living water. Join us in proclaiming Christ to the nations and putting an end to the global water crisis.
