Before clean water came to her school, her mother could not afford to buy bottled water, so she drank from the unfiltered well meant for handwashing. The Lord saw her need. Now she no longer worries about buying water on the way to school, and she takes clean water home to her three siblings.

Every day she walked a rough, uneven path to a river that had already taken the lives of several women in her area. The Lord knows her name and her story. When the chance came to build a safe water project, she was the first to say yes, and the women of her village followed. Now a solar powered system stands near her home, and she can leave for work without fear.

An evangelist, husband, and father of seven, he has given his life to carrying the gospel to people who have never heard it. The work takes him into remote places that demand courage. There he builds relationships one family at a time, listening to their struggles and praying with them. Recently, around 60 people gave their lives to Christ, and many have asked to be baptized.
