Serving An Entire Region
In Uganda, our implementing partners are working in underserved regions that host an influx of refugees from South Sudan, which has led to alarming health challenges with a big need for clean water. The dominant religion in the region where we work is Islam, and Christians are in the minority. There are still 1.2 million unreached people in Uganda.2
The water projects in Uganda are part of a multi-year program that includes our implementing partner training hundreds of church leaders to address health through improving water, sanitation and hygiene, and training pastors and churches in discipleship multiplication.
Our Work
neverthirst started supporting local partners in Uganda in 2016 to help people gain access to safe water and give a platform for the local Church to reach their fellow people with the good news of Jesus Christ.
We are focused on improving health in Uganda through a variety of projects including new hand pumps, rehabilitating and repairing broken hand pumps, and household filtration programs.
There are many churches in Uganda however there is a need for training in sound theology to help equip pastors and believers to love their neighbors in word and deed. Our implementing partners mobilize and invite local pastors and churches to participate in water programs in villages where there is often no Christian presence.
