As a collective giving community, we hope to gather every other month to pray and go over updates and devotionals from neverthirst. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to fund two piped water systems in Ethiopia.
Change the lives of 3,000 people with clean and living water
This campaign will fund two piped water systems for communities in Ethiopia. To construct the piped water system, boreholes are drilled to 1,000+ feet in depth, and equipped with a submersible pump powered by solar panels. A 50,000 liter central reservoir tank is constructed to house water, and four to six miles of underground pipelines are installed to pipe water to as many as 10 community tap stands.
ON MISSION IN ETHIOPIA
Serving the Unreached in Ethiopia
In 2021, neverthirst identified two unreached regions of Ethiopia where there was little to no hope for safe drinking water or the Gospel. Over the last 4 years, the work has begun in these regions and we have seen an immense impact.
To achieve this vision, we have set the following goals:
- 190,934 people gain access to clean water
- 227 community tap stands built.
- 98 local pastors and evangelists have been identified and are waiting to be mobilized through these water projects.
In both regions, Christians are in the extreme minority. In the Halaba zone particularly, churches face significant persecution for their faith. Despite these challenges, believers in both regions are committed to partnering to reach people with the good news of Jesus.
